Near-Field Retrieval of the Surface Phonon Polariton Dispersion in Free-Standing Silicon Carbide Thin Films
Congrats a good mate Andrea (and all the authors) on his lead work on the dispersion analysis of SPhPs in an interesting free-standing SiC thin film. We will bring more in this exciting field!

Metasurface measuring twisted light in turbulence
Congrats Thomas Dinter, a summer vacation scholarship holder at Macquarie University, who just publishes his first academic publication in ACS Photonics! Thanks for our collaboration teams @Macquarie MQ Photonics Centre, @LMU Munich Chair in Hybrid Nanosystems, and @Monash School of Physics and Astronomy for their contributions to this nice effort. We report the first metasurface…

Congrats on our new paper in Nature Communications
Our recent Nature Communications paper reports a new type of bound states in the continuum- ring BICs in an ultra small footprint for different nanophotonic applications (e.g., molecular sensing and enhancing harmonic generation). Congrats to Lucca Kühner and Andreas Tittl who led the efforts contributed from all the co-authors. Read article here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-32697-z

Metasurface-enhanced chiroptical effects from perovskite nanocrystals.
Congrats on our collaboration with Feldmann group! Great work led by Ilka that has also been selected as the cover of ACS Photonics in the next issue. Read our recent work in the use of a chiral metasurface to enhance the chiroptical response from perovskite nanocrystals: Strong Polarization Dependent Nonlinear Excitation of a Perovskite Nanocrystal…
