Dr Ren participated in the OSA Local Section Seminar plan and organisation.

Dr Ren won a prestigious ARC DECRA!
Dr Ren won a prestigious DECRA fellowship with funding of $434,000.
This project will develop new 3D metafibre optics for advanced imaging.
A PhD position with full scholarship will be announced in 2022.
Dr Ren was invited to speak at the SPIE Photonics West in January 2022.

The Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics (ANZCOP) is back for 2021.

Dr Ren delivered a keynote talk at the TMOS (ARC Centre of Excellence) ECR/Student Conference.

Dr Ren was invited to give a talk at the Korea-Australia Nanophotonics Remote Lectureship.
Dr Ren edited two Research Topics (call for submissions until 2022):
Dr Ren was awarded a MQRF at Macqurie University, with a total funding of $386,000.
This funding will be used to further explore multi-dimensional holography for the future exciting journey to Big Data Photonics!
